Fall is finally upon us and we are busy here in grade 5/6. Grade 6's have been working on their provincial assessments and grade 5 have recently started learning their numbers to one million. We have been working on our science unit, where we've been looking at weather. We will be making a anemometer soon, which the students will use to measure the wind. The class is also going to be looking at different cloud formations and naming them as well. Next we will be working on the solar system, and looking at Mi'Kmaq societies in social studies!

Student's are extremely excited about the money they've been earning in our classroom economy. They can use their money to buy special passes. Be sure to ask your child about the money they've earned! :)
